Captain Lou Baggett is truly the “Native Saltwaterman“.  Five generations of his family have fished some of the best backcountry waters of  South West Florida. A full time U.S.C.G. licensed Captain, Lou has been guiding anglers in his native waters for over forty years.

Captain Lou provides more than a fishing trip; he provides a total fishing experience.  His home bases are Boca Grande, Englewood, and Venice.  However, he regularly travels as far South as Charlotte Harbor and Pine Island Sound, or as far North as Sarasota to increase the odds of finding the most productive waters.   Whether you are looking for giant Tarpon in Boca Grande Pass, or stalking Redfish, Snook, Trout, or other species in the backcountry, Captain Lou knows how to ensure your best catch.

You’ll be rewarded by the Captain’s knowledge of the fishing habitat and ecological systems. Florida’s Southwest coast contains an amazing diversity of wildlife. A day on the water may include sightings of Manatees, Porpoise, Bald Eagles, Osprey, and many other beautiful shore and wading birds.

Lou is a full time professional guide and charter member of the Boca Grande Guides Association.
